5G-IA and 5G-PPP will have a big presence at Mobile World Congress this year where we plan to highlight the following:
- The latest Pan-European 5G Trials Roadmap and the Roadmap flyer for MWC18
- The key 5G-PPP architecture design recommendations and the Architecture flyer for MWC18
- The 5G-PPP Automotive White Paper (link to follow)
- 5G-PPP project Vertical Integration Demos Brochure for MWC18

Our Stand: 5G-IA / 5G-PPP BOOTH (Hall 7, Stand 7K17)

The booth will be the control room where our officials will welcome high-level EC representatives and other 5G stakeholders to network, share informative resources, and showcase projects through videos and one-to-one presentations.
Our Demos: MOBILE WORLD CAPITAL STAND (Congress Square, Stand CS40)
Thanks to close collaboration between 5G-IA / 5G-PPP and Mobile World Capital Barcelona, advanced results from selected 5G-PPP verticals’ projects will be showcased in the event’s prestigious Congress Square.
Come and visit our demos and presentations to see 5G-PPP projects in action. These include:

- 5GMoNarch and 5GXHaul videos (also at 5G IA/5G PPP booth)
- Special session dedicated to the 5G-PPP initiative will take place on the stand at 11.00 on Wednesday (28-Feb). Program includes:

- 11.30-12.00: 5GMONARCH (Christoph Schmelz)
- 12.00-12.30: 5GXHAUL (TBC)
- 12.30-13.15: 5G-IA (Colin Willcock, 5G-IA Board Chair)

We will also distribute brochures on the above projects’ demos (5GCAR, 5GMoNarch, 5GXHaul, and ONE5G) at the Mobile World Capital stand and our booth.
Our Talks: IoT & 5G use cases (Hall 4, Auditorium 4)
Under the theme of “IoT and 5G…brought to life”, some of the most exciting IoT demos in automotive, manufacturing or connectivity will be presented by leading players, disruptors and newcomers. During the main conference session, at 11.30 on Thursday (1-March), the following 5G-PPP representatives will speak about technologies that will have a direct impact on 5G and IoT applications:
- Jean-Pierre Bienaimé, 5G-IA Secretary General will be among the keynote speakers, presenting an overview of the 5G-PPP Projects and expected impact on 5G & IoT applications
- Panagiotis Demestichas and Dr. Evangelos Kosmatos of WINGS ICT Solutions will present a demo from the ONE5G project
